RIDES FOR MAY 2018
All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 07h00 am.
Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Notes
Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Saturday 12 May 2018
Description – Chapman’s Peak
Details – from the BP via Marine drive and the N1 and the Waterfront to Llandudno and Chappies +- 90km The Social Riders will follow the same route till Llandudno after regrouping will return to the BP +- 70km
Sunday 13 May 2018
Description – Polkadraai
Details – from the BP via Frans Conradie to Bottelary right into Saxdowns left into Langverwacht and proceed to the top of Polka after regrouping we descent into Stellenbosch and return to the BP via Bottelary +- 80km
Special Notes
- I’m very encouraged by our ladies who regularly attend our saturday club rides kudos to all of you, as some of our male members have been slacking
- Please ensure you have two working lights on you’re bike when you attend our rides, as visibility is very important
- Those who have entered the Knysna race in July join our saturday rides and get your long distance training ride in by being with other cyclists than to do it on your own
- I’m glad to say Steven Wood is recovering well after his unfortunate fall and itching to get back on the road
