RIDES FOR NOVEMBER 2017

All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.

Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Bunch Safety
Obey traffic signals – red lights
Ride inside the yellow line
Single file on narrow roads
Point out objects in the road

Bunch Etiquette
Blow your nose at the back of the bunch
Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides
Don’t half bike
Be punctual

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Saturday 18 November 2017
DescriptionMelkbos
Details – From the BP, an easy ride via the coastal road to Melkbos and return via the westcoast road +- 50km

Sunday 19 November 2017
DescriptionLlandudno
Details – From the BP, our usual route via the N1 and waterfront to Llandudno with the usual regrouping points +-70km


Notes

– Well done to all who raced in Langebaan
– Good Luck to all who will be participating in the Cyclosportif
– We had a practice run of a racepace average 32km club ride – for the cyclist interested in a faster club ride it was a great success, we were 12 and our next one will be in 4 weeks
– We are still looking for cyclists for our intermediate DC Team
