All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 07h00 am.

Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Bunch Safety
Obey traffic signals – red lights
Ride inside the yellow line
Single file on narrow roads
Point out objects in the road

Bunch Etiquette
Blow your nose at the back of the bunch
Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides
Don’t half bike
Be punctual

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Rides for the Weekend


Saturday 24 March 2018
Details – from the BP we head towards Uys Krige and carry on over Lovers Lane and left into Jip de Jager and follow the road into st Johns at the traffic circle right next circle left through Durbanville down Wellington left into Philladelphia and return to the BP via Adderley and Tiekie +- 80km. 

Sunday 25 March 2018
Details – from the BP over Tiekie through Durbanville down Wellington right towards Fesantekraal at the 4 way intersection right onto the R304 and follow the road towards Stellenbosch return to the BP via Bottelary +- 80km

Special Notes

– With the Cycle Tour over it doesn’t mean for you to put you’re bike away and lose the fitness you work so hard for.

– Our club rides continue right through autumn and winter.

– In three weeks time there’s also a PPA road race of 90km.

– Join our weekend rides and you’ll stay motivated through the upcoming cold months and even improve on you’re fitness especially our social riders.
