All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth r. Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.




Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same. First time visitors are required to sign an indemnity form.

Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides

Be punctual


Saturdays – rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. We try and cater for a long and short group depending on the turn-outs. 

Sundays – rides are usually more challenging i.e. 30+ km/hr pace. We however try and cater for multiple groups with separate capabilities, depending on the turn-outs on the day.

Saturday 15 Dec 2018

Philadelphia – from the BP via Contermanskloof N7 and Vanschoorsdrift to Philadelphia for coffee at the Deli Shed pics will be taken at the BP and through out the ride and at the Deli Shed return to the BP the same way +-85km Fast Group will do a CCC loop at the start before joining the club ride and return via the Westcoast road +-100km

Duynefontein – from the BP we head towards Uys Krige left onto Plattekloof follow the road past the Bosmansdam turnoff left into Vryburger right into Bosmansdam through Century City to Marine Drive right onto the bikepath and head towards Dolphin beach after a left we follow the coastal road to Duynefontein after three laps we return to the BP via the bikepath and the Paddocks +-70km

Chapman’s Peak – 06h3 from the BP via Century City, Marine Drive,N1and the Waterfront to Llandudno and Chappies with the usual regrouping points +-90km


Please wear your club kit on Saturday for the pics to be taken on the day. We have short rides planned for 24/25/26/27 December and the usual weekend rides please be careful on your rides and try to stay inside the yellow line at all times its unfortunately that time of year where we have to lookout for broken glass on the road and impatient motorists
