All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.

Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Bunch Safety
Obey traffic signals – red lights
Ride inside the yellow line
Single file on narrow roads
Point out objects in the road

Bunch Etiquette
Blow your nose at the back of the bunch
Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides
Don’t half bike
Be punctual

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Rides for the Weekend


Saturday 17 February 2018
Details – Noordhoek from the Bp via the N1 and waterfront to Llandudno and onwards towards Chappies after regrouping we descent into Noordhoek after regrouping again we turn around and return to the Bp the same way with the usual regrouping points +- 100km

 Sunday 18 February 2018
Details – Polkadraai from the Bp over Tiekie right into Tygerberg valley road left into Old Oak follow the road into La Belle left into Bottelary and right into Saxdowns left into Langverwacht and follow the road to the top of Polka after regrouping we descent into Stellenbosch and return to the Bp via Bottelary  +- 90km

Special Notes

– Congrats and well done to the cyclists who finished the 99er

– We had an unfortunate incident when a motorist opened a door in front of one of our cyclist’s. Luckily he wasn’t going to fast, so please do be careful on the roads.
