Congrats and Welldone to all our members who braved the rain to finish the Cycletour on Sunday
We wish our members who were involved in accidents in the slippery conditions a speedy recovery
Our members trained hard for the Cycletour and unfortunately had to ride with safety concerns on their minds on the day
The Cycletour might be over for the year but it does not mean we give up our hard earned fitness conditioning
Our members like to have a goal to train for
The WP road cycling events kickstarts on the 8 of May in Slanghoek
Cat 3 cyclist will be cycling 80km on the day
2 laps of the 40km Slanghoek circuit
The Slanghoek event gives our members roughly 3 weeks to either maintain or improve on their fitness
Don’t overthink the upcoming changes in the weather as we head towards winter
Take it month by month
The 5AM crew is a good role model to strive for
2 midweek rides and 1 weekend ride is all that’s needed to maintain your fitness
Hills is a weakness to most of our members
Let’s train through autumn and winter to get stronger on hills
Those that’s interested in the DC
There’s a 222km handicapped race in June in Velddrift
Another great reason to stay active and consistent with your training
The WP road racing calendar is full of events for May
Let’s bring the City Gees to WP events
We can organise the club’s Kombi if there’s enough interest
Looking forward to our members over the long weekend
Our rides are nice and early so you can spend the rest of the day with your family
