All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.


Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same. First time visitors are required to sign an indemnity form.

Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides

Be punctual


Saturdays – rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. We try and cater for a long and short group depending on the turn-outs. 


Sundays – rides are usually more challenging i.e. 30+ km/hr pace. We however try and cater for multiple groups with separate capabilities, depending on the turn-outs on the day.

Saturday 19 January Duynefontein 06h30 AM

From the BP through Monte Vista left into Giel Basson left into Bosmansdam from there onto the Westcoast road left at Dolphin beach follow the coastal road to Melkbos and Duynefontein after 3 laps in Duynefontein we return to the BP via the bike path and the Paddocks +-70km

Sunday 20 January Polkadraai 06h30 AM

From the BP via Frans Conradie to Bottelary right into Saxdowns left into Langverwacht and follow the road to the top of Polka after regrouping we descend into Stellenbosch and return to the BP via Bottelary +-80km

Tuesday 22 January CCC loops 05h00 AM

From the BP, CCC loops x 5 laps +-45km/90 minutes

Thursday Big Bay intervals 05h00 AM

From the BP via Bosmansdam, follow the cycle lane via Dolphin Beach to Big Bay where we do a few laps on the circuit +-45km/90 minutes

Sunday 20 January is the Stellenbosch Cycle Tour please wear your club kit so we can recognise CCC members more easily. Good luck to all taking part!

Unfortunately we had a couple of falls on our way back from our club race last week Saturday which resulted in severe injuries to two cyclists. We wish them a speedy recovery and hope to see them soon on their bikes.

Club Membership fees are due for 2019 please visit our website and fill out our online application form for 2019 season

There will be a leg loosener ride to Bigbay Saturday morning 06h30 +-30km
