All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.

Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Bunch Safety
Obey traffic signals – red lights
Ride inside the yellow line
Single file on narrow roads
Point out objects in the road

Bunch Etiquette
Blow your nose at the back of the bunch
Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides
Don’t half bike
Be punctual

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Saturday 17 February 2018
Details – from the BP we follow the coastal road to Duynefontein after 3laps we return to the BP via the Westcoast road +- 60km

 Sunday 18 February 2018
Details – from the BP we head towards Marine drive and from there onto the N1 and through the Waterfront and proceed to Llandudno with the usual regrouping points  +- 70km

Special Notes

– Good luck to the cyclists who entered the Tour de PPA on Sunday 25th. Note, for those interested, there’ll be a nice easy leg loosener ride to Blaauwberg on Saturday 24th at 6:30 leaving from the BP garage on Letchworth drive.

– With 3 weeks to go to Cape Town Cycle Tour, please don’t take unnecessary risks on the roads and don’t just follow blindly the cyclist in front of you.
