All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 07h00 am.

Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Bunch Safety
Obey traffic signals – red lights
Ride inside the yellow line
Single file on narrow roads
Point out objects in the road

Bunch Etiquette
Blow your nose at the back of the bunch
Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides
Don’t half bike
Be punctual

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Rides for the Weekend


Saturday 31 March 2018
Details – from the BP via Marine drive and the N1 into Town over Kloofnek with the option of Signal hill before proceeding to Llandudno with our usual regrouping points +- 70km those interested can carry on to Chappies we return to the BP via our usual route.

Sunday 1 April 2018
Details – from the BP we follow our usual route via Frans Conradie to Bottelary and right into Saxdowns left into Langverwacht and proceed to the top of Polka after regrouping we descend into Stellenbosch and return to the BP via Bottelary  +- 80km

Special Notes

– Wishing everyone a happy Easter weekend

– Usually on public holidays those interested in a ride still gather at the BP at 07h00 and decide amongst themselves where to ride

– Steven Wood had an unfortunate fall wishing him a speedy recovery please be careful when you cycling
