RIDES FOR SEPTEMBER 2018
All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.
Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same. First time visitors are required to sign an indemnity form.

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Saturday 29 Sep 2018
Description – DC training ride 06h00 Langebaan
Details – from the BP we head to the Westcoast road and follow the road to Langebaan after a coffee stop and group photo we return to the BP +- 200km
Description – Social DC team Taal Monument 06h30
Details – from the BP via Bottelary and Tiekie to the top of Taal Monument before returning to the BP via Bottelary +- 130km
Description – Club ride 06h30 Duynefontein with loops
Details – from the BP through Century City to Lagoon beach from there we take the bike path towards Dolphin beach and left onto the coastal road after Big Bay hill we do three interval sprints of the small Big Bay circuit it’s roughly 200metres uphill with 1km recovery and then carry on to Duynefontein where we do another three to four laps before returning to the BP +- 70k Social will do the same route except the loops +- 60k
Sunday 30 Sep 2018
Description – Polkadraai 06h30
Details – from the BP via Frans Conradie to Bottelary right into Saxdowns left into Langverwacht and proceed to the top of Polka after regrouping we descent into Stellenbosch and return to the BP via Bottelary +- 80km

Club rides starts 06h30 from October our club rides will be +-90km and in November +-100km to prepare our club riders for rides to Somerset West, Malmesbury, Paarl and Simons town in the December holidays at club ride pace and regrouping distances is roughly 120km
