All rides starts at the BP service station in Letchworth Drive Edgemead at 06h30 am.

Visitors are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to the ride coordinator at the start and please make sure that you are carrying ICE information or pass that information on to the ride coordinator before the start. Please note that as a club we obey traffic rules and regulations and expect our visitors to do the same.

Bunch Safety
Obey traffic signals – red lights
Ride inside the yellow line
Single file on narrow roads
Point out objects in the road

Bunch Etiquette
Blow your nose at the back of the bunch
Don’t attack – training rides are just that – training rides
Don’t half bike
Be punctual

Visitors are always welcome. Saturday rides are slower and easier so beginners are welcome. Sundays are not for the fainthearted or unfit!

Rides for the Weekend


Saturday 30 December 2017
Details – From the BP, we follow our usual route to Bottelary and from there, right into Saxdowns, left into Langverwacht and follow the road to the top of Polka. After re-grouping, we descent into Stellenbosch and return to the BP via Bottelary +-80km

Sunday 31 December 2017
DescriptionChapman’s Peak
Details – From the BP, we follow our usual route via the N1 and Waterfront to Chappies with the usual re-grouping points +-90km

Special Notes

– After implementing a CTCT (Argus) training program – on Saturday’s we need to expose our social riders to more hills and distance going into the new year
– Hope everyone had a festive Xmas and wishing you a Happy New Year
– To all, please try to stay inside the yellow lines at all times
– I don’t expect the roads to be busy Saturday morning – all social ladies please attend Saturday’s ride
